Clinic Director
Jamison Hunter, DPT
Jamison graduated from Texas A&M University with his BS in movement science in 2018, and from the University of the Incarnate Word with his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021. Jamison and his wife, Kristin, met while in College Station and got married before starting graduate school. They moved to Benbrook in 2022, and shortly after Jamison joined the Benbrook clinic as a staff physical therapist. About a year later, he became clinic director of Green Oaks Physical Therapy – Benbrook. They have one son, Carson, and their two miniature Australians shepherds, Blue and Kip. When not at the clinic, Jamison enjoys being outdoors with his family, cheering for any Texas A&M sport, or rooting for his beloved Houston Rockets and Dallas Cowboys.
From Jamison: “Growing up, I watched my Grandad serve the community he lived in as a healthcare provider. He always talked about what a joy it was to help his neighbors and community. Now living the same scenario myself, I completely understand and feel this joy he described. Living in Benbrook and being provided with the opportunity to help my neighbors and community at GOPT – Benbrook, is better than any job opportunity I could’ve imagined while in PT school. The team at Green Oaks PT Benbrook are so skilled, helpful and kind! They are like a well-oiled machine, rotating the therapists and assistants throughout the therapy sessions for all of the patients, so impressive! They are also down-to-earth, interesting and personable – was so nice getting to know them during my month-long visit to TX! My torn rotator cuff still has a way to go until I’m pain-free, but the therapy they provided was a huge contribution to my healing process. They were also so helpful in getting my insurance situated since I’m visiting from California and wanted to continue with the important therapy – they didn’t hesitate to jump in and tackle the red tape so that I could get the help I needed! Everyone there is so very nice and care about each snd every patient they are treating for whatever physical problem they may have . They are the encouragers when you are not sure you can do a particular exercise you can and you find out you really can . I know I’m doing things I thought I couldn’t do . I’m feeling a lot better . My back is getting better plus my bone on bone knees are much better. I became a couch potato cause of my back and knees hurting. After my therapy session I go home clean work outside. So I want to thank each and every one at Green Oaks Therapy in Benbrook Tx for getting me back to nearly normal again. Love you all you are all like family
I always tell people, the best of the best work here! This is my 2nd time to go here. These people become family. They work together as a team to make you better.
